Volles Haus im Training! / Full House in Class!
🇺🇸 ⬇️ Gestern hatten wir mal wieder richtig volles Haus im Erwachsenentraining! Der gesamte Raum war brechend gefüllt, und nicht nur da, auch bei den Kindergruppen sieht es nicht weniger aus! 12 Jahre nach Gründung des Kiryoku Dojos (damals noch als Shihonkin Dojo), eine Vereinsgründung und eine Selbstständigkeit und das Zurücktransferieren in eine Untermiete und komplett in den Verein zurück sind wir eine richtig gute, große Truppe geworden! Ich bin richtig dankbar dafür! Danke euch allen für euren täglichen Einsatz, euern Schweiß und ab und an auch euer Blut und eure Tränen! Wir rocken das alle zusammen! Mittlerweile habe ich sogar schon Schüler jeden Ranges von Weiß bis Schwarz! Ich bin stolz! Stolz auf mich, dass ich das damals gewagt habe, stolz auf den Verein, dass er so groß geworden ist und stolz auf jeden einzelnen von euch, die so viel Energie da rein stecken, nicht nur auf der Matte, sondern auch im Hintergrund! Auf die nächsten 12 Jahre!
Yesterday, we had a packed house for adult training once again! The room was absolutely bursting at the seams—and it’s the exact same story with the kids‘ classes!
Twelve years after founding Kiryoku Dojo (back then as Shihonkin Dojo), through forming a non-profit, going independent, moving into a sublease, and eventually transitioning fully back into a club, we’ve grown into a truly great, large team. I am so incredibly grateful.
Thank you all for your daily dedication, your sweat, and occasionally even your blood and tears! We’re crushing this together. I even have students at every single rank now, from white belt all the way to black!
I’m proud—proud of myself for taking that leap years ago, proud of the club for growing so much, and proud of every single one of you who puts so much energy into this, both on the mat and behind the scenes. Here’s to the next 12 years!
